This is for the future fun, gourmet parties that will go perfectly with Bond, James Bond and his “Shaken, Not Stirred” attitude. So far I have a few ideas…
I’ve always wanted to try to make foie gras- so far I have two recipes both from Food Network. First is Pan-Seared Foie Gras with Figs and Port Wine Sauce which looks yummy. The second is Seared Foie Gras with Sauteed Apples. I’m thinking of definitely serving this entire meal sort of canape style, something that could be eaten alongside the Roulette table. So whichever Foie Gras recipe I try, it will definitely be served on a beautiful grilled crostini.
I have begun raiding pinterest so here goes my menu planning ideas:
Prosciutto wrapped asparagus with basalmic reduction, Spinach puffs, Broccoli Cheese Bites, Caprese Stuffed Portabello Mushroom, Spinach Artichoke Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms, Fried Artichokes with Lemon Aioli, Grilled Eggplant Parmesan Stacks, Bacon Wrapped Peaches, Onion and Bacon Marmalade, Filet Mignon Bites
So the goal is to be able to eat with my friends rather than stand in the kitchen the entire night. Possibly have two rounds of oven preps and have dessert resting in the fridge (or pre-made). Dessert and drink options to come
